Benavista Classic Trips Winners for second year running

Benavista Bowls Club held the annual Benavista Classic Trips competition between 2nd and 4th of October and for the second year running a team from Mijas Bowls Club took the title.  Simone Morgan, Mary Detheridge and Pat Fisher took on Derek Dillon, Lorraine Hall and Brian Vincent from Benavista Bowls Club in the final and, in a hard fought match, came out the winners 19-10.  

 The competition was sponsored by Ibex Insurance, a great supporter of bowling on the Costa del Sol, and the club thanks them for that support.   

The club welcomes newcomers to the sport and holds beginners and improvers coaching every Monday morning for anyone who would like to give the game of bowls a try
